Candidates whose names appear on this shortlist are now invited to participate in the next phase of the selection process the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) Interview. This phase is crucial and involves a series of physical, medical, and psychological evaluations, as well as further academic assessments and team-based exercises. The AFSB Interview is designed to identify candidates who possess not only intellectual capacity but also the discipline, fitness, and leadership potential required for officer training at the NDA. All shortlisted applicants are advised to prepare accordingly, adhere strictly to the interview schedule, and bring all required documents and materials as specified in the official invitation.
The Selection Board Interview for the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) 77 Regular Course is scheduled to take place from Saturday, 28th June to Saturday, 16th August, 2025. The exercise will be conducted at the NDA Ribadu Campus, commonly referred to as the Old Site, located in Kaduna State. This phase of the admission process plays a critical role in identifying the most qualified and capable individuals from among the shortlisted candidates who sat for the screening test.
During the interview, candidates will undergo a comprehensive and multi-layered assessment process. This includes physical fitness tests designed to evaluate strength, endurance, and overall physical condition—essential traits for military training. Medical examinations will also be conducted to ensure that all participants meet the health standards required for rigorous military and academic life. In addition to these, candidates will face academic evaluations to measure their knowledge and problem-solving abilities, as well as psychological and leadership tests to determine their mental resilience, character, and potential for officer roles.
This stage is not merely a formality but a decisive component in the NDA’s selection process. Candidates are therefore advised to report on time, dress appropriately, and bring along all necessary documentation, including evidence of identity, academic qualifications, medical records, and any other items outlined in the official communication from the NDA. Punctuality, discipline, and full participation in all interview activities will be essential for successful consideration.
Applicants whose names appear in the list are invited for the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) for interview from Saturday 28th June – Saturday 16th August, 2025 at the NDA Ribadu Campus (old site), Kaduna.
