Our client is hiring a Tuck Shop Sales Attendant to join a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate must be proactive, honest, and detail-oriented. You should be able to handle POS systems, basic bookkeeping, and front-line customer service. Experience in a retail kiosk, mini mart, school tuck shop, or food service point will give you a strong advantage.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:

Attend to students, staff, and customers courteously at the tuck shop

Operate cash register or POS system efficiently and accurately

Maintain stock inventory, reorder supplies, and report shortages

Ensure shelves and display areas are clean, stocked, and organized

Check product labels and ensure safe food handling practices

Keep a clean and hygienic workspace in line with school standards

Report daily sales and update the sales log or system

Provide timely and helpful service during peak hours (e.g., break time)
Requirements
What You Bring:

OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification in any discipline

Minimum 2 years experience in a retail or tuck shop environment

Good knowledge of inventory management and customer service

Ability to work independently and maintain records

Polite, trustworthy, and able to interact with children and school staff

Prior experience in a school tuck shop or cafeteria is an added advantage
