Key Responsibilities

As a Graphics Designer on our team, your primary responsibility will be to develop and design a wide range of brand assets, marketing visuals, and campaign graphics that effectively communicate our company’s message and values. You will be tasked with bringing creative ideas to life by designing everything from promotional banners to social media visuals, brochures, flyers, product packaging, website graphics, and more, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and branding across all materials. In this role, you will work closely with the marketing, product, and communications teams to understand design requirements, clarify brand objectives, and translate conceptual ideas into visually compelling graphic outputs. Your collaboration will be essential in creating high-quality visuals that support product launches, digital campaigns, advertisements, corporate communications, and special projects. You will also support the UI/UX needs of the team by creating clean, user-friendly interface mockups, wireframes, and layout suggestions for apps, websites, or customer-facing platforms. This includes converting user insights into clear visual flows and accessible design structures that improve the digital experience. Additionally, you will produce impactful infographics that present data in an engaging and understandable way, making information visually digestible for a variety of audiences. You will be expected to apply industry-standard best practices in layout design, typography, and color theory while maintaining brand consistency in every design task you undertake. You will also adapt your designs across digital and print platforms, ensuring responsiveness, scalability, and clarity in every format—whether it’s viewed on a mobile device, a desktop screen, or as printed collateral. A critical part of your role will include staying current with global and industry-specific design trends, new tools, and emerging techniques to help us maintain a modern and competitive visual identity. We expect you to continuously seek inspiration and find innovative ways to improve our brand’s presentation and overall visual impact. Tips to Secure This Job

To submit a successful application for this Graphics Designer position, candidates must take several steps to present themselves as strong and competitive applicants. Begin by ensuring that your portfolio link is active, accessible, and curated to showcase your very best work. Whether you’re using Behance, Dribbble, a personal website, or a Google Drive folder, make sure the layout is organized, the designs are high-resolution, and each project includes a brief explanation or context. Employers want to see not just beautiful visuals, but also your creative process, versatility, and how your work solved a particular design problem. Be intentional about what you include, highlight branding projects, marketing campaigns, social media creatives, UI/UX interfaces, or any motion graphics you’ve designed. If you have completed freelance work, in-house jobs, or agency-led projects, label each category accordingly to demonstrate the range of your experience. Next, emphasize your proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects. These tools are essential for both static and motion-based visual content, and your ability to work seamlessly with them can be a deciding factor. Be sure to include actual projects in your portfolio that were executed using these applications and explain your role in the project if it was collaborative. If you’ve worked with other software such as Figma, Canva, CorelDRAW, or Blender, this can also be included to show broader skill sets. Beyond tools, show initiative and versatility by including different design styles and themes. For example, you might include sleek, modern interfaces alongside vibrant, illustrative event posters. Demonstrate how you adapt your creative approach to different brands, target audiences, or campaign goals. This shows not just talent, but also strategy and communication skills, qualities that matter in fast-paced creative environments. When preparing your application, double-check that all contact information, especially your phone number and email address, is correct. A single error could prevent you from being contacted even if you qualify. Also, keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder) after submission, as shortlisted candidates may be contacted quickly for interviews. If selected, you should be prepared to complete a practical design task. This may involve creating visuals under a time limit, rebranding a concept, or improving an existing asset to showcase your skills in real time. In many cases, employers will also conduct a portfolio review during the interview, where you’ll be asked to explain your design thinking, choice of colors, typography, layout, and how you interpreted the client or company brief. Practicing this ahead of time can help you speak confidently about your work. Always follow application instructions exactly. If you’re asked to include specific subject lines, file names, or to fill out a form in a particular format, do so precisely. Deviating from instructions can create a negative first impression. Your application should be complete, clear, and submitted before the deadline. Remember, the design field is highly competitive, so thoughtful presentation and professionalism at every step will help you stand out.
