Overview
Kogi State University, Kabba, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for multiple non-teaching health-related positions at the University Clinic. The recruitment aims to strengthen the quality of medical, nursing, laboratory, and health information management services provided within the University community. Successful candidates will be expected to provide efficient, professional, and patient-centered health services. The recruitment process may include a Computer-Based Test (CBT) as part of the selection stage.
Responsibilities

Provide professional healthcare and medical support services within the University Clinic.

Ensure accurate management of medical records, laboratory investigations, and diagnostic reporting.

Requirements
Medical Officer I – CONMESS 09

Basic Medical or Dental qualification from a recognized institution.

Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) or provisional license for House Officers.

NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Computer literacy and ability to work with health information systems.
Medical Laboratory Scientist I – CONTISS 08
-
BSc in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.

Minimum of three (3) years cognate experience in a medical laboratory setting.

Registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).

NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Proficiency in the use of computers for laboratory data management.
Medical Laboratory Scientist II – CONTISS 07

BSc in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.

Registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).

Nursing Officer II – CONTISS 07

Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree from a recognized university.

Staff Nurse – CONTISS 06

Salary
Salary is based on CONMESS and CONTISS salary structures and will align with existing university conditions of service.
