Job Overview

The Medical Practice Assistant will work directly with doctors, nurses, and patients to keep daily hospital operations running smoothly. The successful applicant will handle administrative duties, assist during consultations, and maintain patient records to ensure quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Support doctors and nurses during patient consultations and minor procedures.
Manage patient files, update records, and enter information accurately.
Schedule patient appointments and follow up on test results.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in consulting and waiting areas.
Respond to patient inquiries politely and professionally.
Prepare medical and administrative reports as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

OND, HND, or B.Sc. in a health-related or administrative field.
Minimum of one year of experience in a clinic, hospital, or diagnostic center.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge (especially Microsoft Word and Excel).
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
